Live theatre is the performance of an act in front of a live audience. Live theatre has taken a backseat in today’s world, with films and broadcasts being more popular. However, it remains relevant for several reasons.

Unlike films, live theatre performances are always changing, and unique even though the screenplay might be the same every night. Audiences get to experience the emotions, movement, and mood of the play which cannot be duplicated.

Secondly, in live theatre productions, actors’ performances are enhanced especially with a receptive audience. In some cases, the audience is deliberately involved in the play. This improves the overall production for both actors and audiences.

Moving on, live theater production has been breaking new ground ever since it began. Although the stage hasn’t changed, embracing innovations has significantly enhanced the theater-going experience. With only a few basic tools, humans can move stages, make people vanish, and perform other feats of magic. This translates to more revenue generation from the theatre business.

Finally, the theatre promotes education, inclusion, and the telling of unique stories that are not usually spotlighted in cinemas.
